Your new role

An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists to join our vibrant Scholarships Team, with a focus on Student Equity initiatives. The Scholarships Office manages a portfolio of university wide scholarships involving the assessment and selection of applicants, payment, monitoring and reporting.

Using a detailed knowledge of a range of policies, rules, entitlements and obligations the role is responsible for providing advice and determinations to students, Curtin staff and sponsors.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:  


  • Setting up new scholarships including liaison with scholarship providers;
  • Managing the assessment of scholarship applications and panel decisions;
  • Maintaining a system of offers and acceptances;
  • Managing student accounts;
  • Providing specialist advice to prospective scholarship applicants whilst delivering a high level of customer service, and
  • Administering the StepUp to Curtin and Portfolio Access Schemes

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, friendly and collaborative team within the Scholarships office and will allow you to gain a wealth of experience in various sections of the scholarship process. 

This role is well suited for someone looking for a rewarding role in supporting equity students towards the pathway of higher education and providing advice and support on available scholarships to enable equity students to thrive.
