Your new role

We are seeking a highly passionate individual who enjoys working in a diverse campus community and being part of a team who are trained to manage general safety and security issues, in addition to supporting the wellbeing and welfare of the campus community.

Fantastic opportunity for a Safer Community Officer to join Curtin University on a casual basis with possibilities of full-time employment in the future.
To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Completion of a Certificate level II in security operations by a recognised security training company or for this to be in progress.
  • Strong communication skills
  • A current WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
  • A passion for working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and a strong sense of community
  • A valid Senior First Aid Certificate
  • A level of fitness commensurate with the position which involves patrols on foot or bicycle.

You will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.

Only in limited situations will visa sponsorship situations be considered.
