(HEO5) $72,832 to $80,983 per annum plus an employer contribution of 9.5% superannuation will apply.

The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

Fixed term, full-time position available until 31 December 2021

The Chronic Inflammatory Lung Disease Research Laboratory focuses on research involving better understanding and treating severe inflammatory chronic lung diseases including cystic fibrosis and chronic pulmonary disease (COPD/emphysema). 

We are seeking an experienced Research Officer who will provide technical, research and administrative support to our researchers to ensure smooth and successful performance of research projects.  We are seeking an individual with a strong background in medical research work and who has a keen interest in chronic lung disease.

To be successful you will need: 

  • Proficiency in laboratory procedures for clinical research using human and animal models.
  • Familiarity with laboratory management and safety procedures.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work well under pressure, to meet deadlines with an ability to priortise tasks.
