The Opportunity

Join our team as a Research Officer and contribute to ground-breaking research in the Applied Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience laboratory, delving into the link between sleep and dementia risk. Engage in diverse studies on sleep in older adults, employing various methodologies to gather vital data. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Research Officer to join our team for an initial 6-month term, with a potential extension of up to 2 years.

The Research Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the achievement of research outcomes by undertaking various tasks, including participant recruitment, scheduling, neuropsychological testing and conducting overnight sleep studies. With your expertise in data management and analysis, you'll ensure the integrity and accuracy of research databases, adhering to established objectives and protocols. Additionally, you'll assist in preparing reports and documentation, including literature reviews, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge in this field. Prior experience in conducting sleep studies and neuropsychological testing is desirable but not required for this role.
