(Level B) $100,933 to $119,391 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply

Two fixed term, full-time or part-time positions available immediately until June 2024 with a possibility of extension.

These positions are to undertake innovative epidemiological research to investigate maternal, medical and environmental factors that might contribute to complications in pregnancy and poor perinatal outcomes, including congenital anomalies.

This is part of a work program supported by grants from the Medical Research Future Fund and the National Health and Medical Research Council.  The investigating team brings together experts from three universities in South Australia and the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute, under the auspices of the Robinson Research Institute.  It has a reputation for high quality research and strong support for the career advancement of research fellows.

To be successful you will need:

• A PhD in epidemiology or a related discipline with a quantitative research focus or equivalent qualifications or research experience.
• Advanced knowledge of issues in epidemiological study design and interpretation.
• Proven experience with the use of epidemiologic research methods in relation to reproductive health, pregnancy or child health.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, including planning and leading research, where applicable.
• Strong track record of high-quality publications relative to opportunity.
