The Opportunity
Join our team as a post-doctoral Research Fellow for the ENGAGE Project, generously funded for 4 years and 9 months, aimed at promoting shared engagement between hospitalised older people, their families and health professionals about managing medications, as patients move across different clinical settings.
As a Research Fellow, you'll have the opportunity to foster research excellence and innovation while creating tangible health impacts. This position is designed to support early career researchers with exceptional potential, providing a platform to become internationally competitive researchers. The position will be required to have interest and expertise in co-design research, evaluation of complex interventions in hospitals, transitions of care, medication safety and reflexive engagement.
We are seeking a strong candidate with a doctoral qualification in a health-related discipline, such as nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, pharmacy, health sociology or health sciences. Your demonstrated ability to interact with diverse stakeholders in hospital environments and proficiency in statistical analysis and manuscript preparation, including a solid track record of refereed research publications, will be valuable assets in driving this project forward. The successful candidate will also be experienced in interacting with health professionals, patients and families in hospital environments within the Australian healthcare system.
