Your contributions will play a pivotal role in addressing critical issues related to addiction, mental health, and suicide prevention. NAMHSU is actively seeking a Research Fellow to collaborate with senior researchers in conducting impactful research in public health surveillance, specifically focusing on addressing challenges related to addiction and mental health.

As a crucial team member, the Research Fellow will be responsible for coordinating key project deliverables, with a primary emphasis on conducting quantitative analysis of surveillance data to meet reporting obligations for government and research bodies. In close collaboration with the NAMHSU Strategic Lead, the Research Fellow will spearhead innovative grant submissions, leveraging the unique National Ambulance Surveillance System data.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong track record of research excellence and a commitment to achieving national recognition. This commitment should be demonstrated through a history of high-quality publications, engaging conference presentations, and preferably, successful acquisition of external funding relative to their career stage and opportunities.
