The Centre for Future Materials at UniSQ is one of the largest research centres in Australia on composites, specialising in advanced composites and manufacturing research, and providing novel design, manufacture and testing for aerospace, automotive, and wind turbine industries.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our research centre and contribute to innovative research in carbon fibre composites, recognised as the strong and light-weight solution for many industries.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Professor (Materials and Manufacturing), you will conduct research and development in the funded Australian Research Council Discovery Project on carbon fibre composites, as well as involvement in growing the University’s research program in carbon fibre composites.

What will help you succeed

Key to your success in this role will be your relevant qualification in composites science and engineering and your research experience and knowledge in carbon fibre composites design, manufacturing processes, testing facilities and instruments, and applications.

Salary: Total remuneration range $88,917 to $119,286 pa (includes salary range of $75,130 to $100,791 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
