About the Role

The Research Coordinator will assist with the delivery of the MRFF Research Project, Supporting the Self-Management of Lymphoedema After Breast Cancer: Codesign and Implementation of a Lymphoedema Navigation Online (LeaN On) Program. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the development and submission of ethics and governance applications, conduct of focus groups and interviews, setting up of study databases, communication with investigators, regular reporting and other tasks as required for successful conduct and completion of the study.

The Research Coordinator will regularly liaise with the Project Team, people with lived experience, Breast Cancer Network Australia, the McGrath Foundation and oversee and ensure the progress from one study stage to the next.


About You

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Completion of a degree qualification in Psychology, or related area with subsequent relevant experience

  • Project management experience including delivering projects targets on time

  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodology

  • Ability to plan and execute data collection and analysis

  • Proven experience working within the Australian Healthcare setting.
