Overview
An opportunity exists for a Research Contracts Adviser to coordinate the Research Contract and Funding Team, within Research Services.  You will negotiate research contracts with a variety of organisations including government, profit/not for profit, as well as international organisations, and will ensure contracts align with the project, ECU requirements and government policy. You will also be responsible for effectively managing post-award research grant administration and recording of research grant information for the university. 

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Experience in reviewing, negotiating and prepare contracts, preferably relating to research projects. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience supervising a team with a strong customer focus working in a dynamic environment.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $97,113 to $108,813 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
