About the Role
The role involves contributing to a developing program of research on Rural Health Medical Workforce within the Rural Clinical School team. Responsibilities include assisting with research ethics applications, collecting and analyzing data from electronic medical records, conducting interviews with students, preparing manuscripts for publication, and managing administrative tasks associated with research projects. Additionally, the position entails collaborating with the Clinical Dean and academic staff to implement the research program and strengthening relationships with industry partners and healthcare professionals in the Goulburn Valley region.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation of a developing program of research on Rural Health Medical Workforce, as part of a team within the Rural Clinical School.
  • Assisting with research ethics applications.
  • Data collection from electronic medical records from health services in the Goulburn Valley region.

Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, team collaboration, and commitment to advancing the Rural Clinical School's role. They should possess organizational prowess, adaptability, and a willingness to further develop research skills, with a preference for a background in health science or research experience.

You will also have:

  • A tertiary qualification recognisable in Australia.    
  • A commitment to furthering the role of the University within the Rural Clinical School.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
