As a research assistant, your role will be centered around educational settings such as schools and early learning centers. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Australian Curriculum. Your understanding of pedagogical principles in early childhood is vital, with a focus on experiences that enhance children's skills and creativity in digital technologies. Your experience in effectively coordinating learning environments to foster computational thinking and encourage creativity in digital play experiences is crucial. You must showcase a proven capability to supervise and facilitate digital technology learning and play experiences for young children, educators, and parents.

Duties of the position:

  • Your role as a research assistant will revolve around educational settings like schools and early learning centers.

Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills with the ability to coordinate activities and prioritise tasks.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in both written and oral communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and stakeholders and to produce documentation which is clear and concise.
  • Demonstrated competent in the use of word-processing and spreadsheet packages, including the ability to generate reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as effectively as part of a team.
