About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a Research Administration Officer is available. You will be working at the NHMRC Clinical Trails Centre. You will be assisting with a range of international project with the Next Gen Synthesis team within the Evidence Integration Team. The Evidence Integration team assists with the global initiative to reduce research waste using systematic reviews, individual participant data systematic reviews, network meta-analysis and meta-research including the epidemiology of clinical trials and trial methodology. https://ctc.usyd.edu.au/our-work/research-divisions/evidence-integration/
You will;
- communicate with international stakeholders via email and sometimes phone, keeping email inboxes up to date, organizing meetings, including agendas and minutes
- support all stages of the research process
- reference manuscripts for example Endnote and journal submissions
- assist with data processing, mapping variables, database management
- assist with systematic reviews (e.g. screening studies, risk of bias)
- prepare presentations
- assist with grant applications, ethics applications and other research support tasks.
About you;
- you will have a relevant degree in public health, clinical epidemiology, medicine, psychology or a similar related area
- previous experience within a research setting is highly desirable
- you will have great attention to detail, ability to work independently and have great organisational skills
- you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
