CQUniversity is seeking to appoint three 0.4 fixed term Regional Arts Officers located in different areas of Queensland as part of the Regional Arts Services Network .

 

  • 1 x Regional Arts Officer (Central) - The appointee must reside in one of the following Local Government Areas: Banana, Central Highlands, Gladstone, Livingstone, Rockhampton, Woorabinda.

 

  • 1 x Regional Arts Officer (South) - The appointee must reside in one of the following Local Government Areas: Gympie, Moreton Bay, Noosa, Somerset, Sunshine Coast.

 

  • 1 x Regional Arts Officer (West) - The appointee must reside in one of the following Local Government Areas: Barcaldine, Barcoo, Blackall-Tambo, Diamantina, Longreach and Winton.

 

In this role, you will be a key liaison point for key stakeholders and will maintain regional arts networks whilst supporting the goal of securing seed funding for regional activities.


Position Requirements

 

  • Experience in arts/cultural management.
  • Knowledge and experience of regional settings and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts and cultures.
  • Knowledge of and experience in arts project fundraising, grant writing and developing sponsorship proposals.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook and Internet Explorer and proficiency in the use of such software.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated time management with a proven ability to organise work and resolve operational issues with limited supervision.
  • Experience in writing, including reports for creative and professional purposes.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives.
