About the Role

The Library is looking for a dedicated professional to coordinate the Library’s research data service.

The position collaborates with other Library staff, the University’s Research Services office, and with researchers to coordinate the identification and description of the University’s research datasets and to collaborate with national research data initiatives, such as the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC), and the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 2 years based at Penrith Campus.

About You

You must be eligible for professional membership with the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA), including attainment of a relevant degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

You will have demonstrated theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of current and developing trends in scholarly communication together with highly developed planning, teamwork, co-ordination, collaborative and motivational skills with a proven ability to work autonomously and as a member of an integrated team.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $110,370 to $119,091 p.a. (comprising Salary of $93,264 to $100,633 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
