Casual Academics Eligibility List for Bachelor of Music

School of Humanities & Communication Arts, Western Sydney University  

The School of Humanities and Communication Arts, Western Sydney University, invites expressions of interest from people who are interested in casual part-time academic work which will involve lectures, tutorials, workshops and marking in the Bachelor of Music programs.  Core and Major areas of Music include Music Performance, Composition, Music Production, Music Theory, Musicology, Arranging Music and Music Analysis.

Applications to be considered for our eligibility list are invited from candidates with expertise and experience in teaching in one or more of our program areas.  The Bachelor of Music is offered on the Penrith campus.

Applications: Applicants are required to indicate the major area/s in which they are interested in teaching when addressing the selection criteria. Please refer to the list contained in the Position Description.

Remuneration: Tutor to Lecturer ranges from $103.65 to $215.02 per hour. A separate rate for marking and academic other duties are available from the School.
