About the Role - Join us as a pivotal force at Western Sydney University, taking on the role of Senior Administrative Officer!
As a Senior Administrative Officer in the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment you will fuel the School's success by championing efficient financial and administrative support. Collaborating within a dynamic team, you contribute to the effective management of project finances and reporting, ensuring the School's operational and research initiatives thrive. Your responsibilities intersect with various portfolios, including Finance, Human Resources, and Research Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide top-tier administrative support to key stakeholders, ensuring seamless operations
  • Manage day-to-day operations for the School's research resources, ensuring smooth functioning
  • Monitor and report on research project budgets with precision and finesse
  • Navigate the financial landscape, reconciling the School’s income and expenditure effectively
  • Collaborate on HR processes for research staff, offering timely advice on HR and Finance matters

Skills and Expereince
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional administrative training and experience
  • Proven track record in delivering high-level administrative support
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and a track record of problem-solving, showcasing a proactive approach
  • Well-developed interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 6 $107,358 to $115,073 p.a. (comprising Salary of $90,719 to $97,238 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
