About the Role
Embark on an exciting journey with Western Sydney University's Office of Pro Vice-Chancellor, International as a Communications Assistant for Offshore Campuses. Collaborate closely with the team, overseeing dynamic marketing strategies across online and offline platforms. Contribute significantly to international marketing campaigns, playing a key role in creative content sourcing and refinement for digital and hard copy communications. Beyond virtual realms, take the lead in coordinating impactful offshore meetings and events, amplifying Western’s global footprint. Be the vital support system for the Offshore Campuses team by providing administrative assistance, ensuring the seamless operation of initiatives that contribute to the global outreach of Western Sydney University.—apply now for a role merging creativity, coordination, and global engagement!

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31st December 2024, based at Western’s Parramatta South Campus

About You 
To be successful in this exciting new role, you will require the following skills and experience:

  • A relevant qualification and equivalent professional experience in communication and social media preferably in an international education setting; or relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative content sourcing, refining, and creation for digital and hard copy communications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong administrative skills to provide vital support to the Offshore Campuses team
  • Commitment to contributing to the global outreach of Western Sydney University.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 4 $87,412 to $93,061 p.a. (comprising Salary of $73,864 to $78,638 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
