About the Role
The Office of Teaching & Research Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to join one of our Technical Support Teams. The Technical Assistant, Mechatronics position will assist and support various teaching units and research projects within the Engineering team.

The purpose of this position includes, but is not limited to, preparing materials and equipment across variety of Engineering disciplines including Electronic, Electrical or Mechatronics to support practical classes and research. They will ensure the equipment and facilities within their scope are
available and maintained appropriately, as well as conferring safety guidance to staff and students.

You should be aware that this role will be based at Kingswood campus, however as Western Sydney University is a multi-campus university travel to other campuses may be required when operational needs arise. Hours of work for employees in Teaching & Research Technical Services may vary due to operational requirements in supporting teaching classes or research projects and further details are outlined in the position description.

Remuneration Package:

HEW Level 4 $87,412 to $93,061 p.a. (comprising Salary of $73,864 to $78,638 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
