We operate across a number of campuses in Greater Western Sydney and provide pathways to University through English Language Programs, University Foundation Studies, Diploma Programs, and continuing professional development programs. We are seeking Casual Teachers, English Language Programs’ for Short Term English Programs, staff relief and ad hoc programs

About the Role
This position will provide a high standard of teaching and learning with the aim of maintaining and developing The College’s reputation as a quality provider of education services.

Qualification Requirements 
As specified in NEAS guidelines: 

o Recognised degree or equivalent and a recognised TESOL qualification; OR
o Recognised degree or equivalent and a teaching qualification with TESOL method; OR
o Recognised degree in education with TESOL method 

Skills and Experiences
The successful candidate must have relevant teaching experience, knowledge and application of current best practice in English Language Teaching and be committed to student success, engagement and satisfaction 

Working with Children Check
As this position is expected to involve direct or unsupervised contact with children, and in accordance with legislative requirements, in order to commence working at The College, it is a requirement to obtain a “NSW Working with Children Check Clearance”. The screening involves checking that you are not a ‘disqualified person’ the meaning of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012. No disqualified person will be retained in or appointed to work in child related employment within The College. 

Remuneration: Current Casual Rates range from $72.02 to $92.25 per hour.

Hours of Operation: 8:00am – 9:00pm
