About the Role
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Strategy, Government and Alliances is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled candidate for the position of Project Support Officer.  Under the direction of the Director Western Sydney Creative, the Project Support Officer, Western Sydney Creative provides high-level administrative and project and services support and contributes to the planning and delivery of Western Sydney Creative.  The role prepares reports, submissions, briefings, minutes, proposals and associated correspondence, organises and runs program-related events, presentations and activities, liaises with senior internal and external stakeholders, gathers and compiles programs and associated materials and helps to develop evaluation frameworks and mechanisms.  The role contributes to the compilation of promotional and information materials, assists in the delivery of the Western Sydney Creative grants programme and supports Western Sydney Creative’s Advisory and Reference Committees.

The Project Support Officer plays a key role in the strategic and operational planning for the University’s cultural programme ensuring that it meets all the University governance and reporting requirements.

The position is based at the Parramatta campus, and regular travel between campuses is a requirement of the position.

Skills and Experiences
The successful candidate must have demonstrated project management, financial, IT, organisational and problem-solving skills, experience in committee and governance support and excellent written and oral communication skills and an interest in areas relating to arts and culture.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 6 $98,696 to $105,828 p.a. (comprising Salary of $83,399 to $89,426 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
