About Competitive Intelligence and Analytics (CIA)
A cross-functional, energetic and highly engaged team, CIA is responsible for the design, production and continuous improvement of the University’s machine learning models, which forecast and report the University’s performance for:

About the Role
CIA has become a single source of truth for the University’s data assets, capturing data from different systems and engineering the data into a view that accurately reflects the business process lifecycle.

CIA’s Data Engineers practice technology-enabled, automated data management.

About You

If you:


  • Are a proactive relationship manager who sees value in developing and investing in positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to understand the requirements of the business.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to transform those requirements into meaningful data which communicates effectively and in an engaging way.
  • Have demonstrated extensive experience in working in SQL, Alteryx and/or Python to design and develop efficient Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) with well-structured, optimised and documented code.
  • And most of all, you value working in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 8 $130,740 to $145,135 p.a. (comprising Salary of $110,477 to $122,641 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
