The School of Business is seeking expressions of interests for a Casual Administration Officer to join the team. The Administration Officer will provide range of administration functions such as database maintenance, reporting activities and compliance administration to support student placement and mentoring programs. The position will primarily undertake work on a short term funded project (called MATRIX) focussed on undergraduate internships, placements, and mentoring.

The ideal candidate should possess high quality customer service skills and demonstrated experience and proficiency in a wide range of computing and online applications. Well-developed oral communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as strong organisational, time management and administrative skills.

This casual position will commence ASAP working 1 day per week until 9 December 2022.  The role is located at the Parramatta City Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

In this role you will:

1. Provide a broad range of administrative functions supporting School internships and student placements.
2.  Monitor and ensure completion of agreements
3.  Ensure effective communication/feedback with stakeholders regarding placements
4.  Efficient use of software packages to produce documentation in a timely manner
5.  Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Student Placements Administration Officer and academic staff around matching of mentees/mentors
6.  Ensure accurate and efficient records management
7.  Provide advice and support to students in relation to general placement enquiries
8. Ensure the application of the placement system in an expert manner for placement optimization
9. Event support for workshops and final recognition ceremony, including set up and bump out
10. Other tasks as may be directed by the Dean, School Manager or Associate Dean (Engagement).

Whilst this position is based at Parramatta City Campus travel to other campus may be required.

Remuneration: HEW Level 5 casual rate $50.75 per hour
