About the Role
WSU is deeply embedded into the fabric of the Greater Western Sydney region. Our Health and Medical research and educational programs strive to improve quality of life in the local community and expend our impact nationally and globally.

An exciting “bench-to-bedside” journey requires fostering and maintaining relationships across a broad range of stakeholders. This newly established role is an opportunity to contribute to the development of strategies that are required to initiate research, nurture research growth and ultimately translate community health, clinical and scientific research and innovation into to real-world impact through new products, services and/or practices.

You will be in the centre of action by:

• Identifying, assessing and securing opportunities of genuine value to the University and local communities across Greater Western Sydney and beyond

• Formalising partnerships and relationships with external organisations ensuring financial and/or non-financial value to the University

• Promoting University Health & Medical research profile and expertise

• Managing complex stakeholder relationships

• Prioritising opportunities to support successful scale-up of the partnerships portfolio and the appropriate balance between short-term and long-term commitments

• Working in a team environment that allows a high degree of autonomy – this is an opportunity to be make the role your own

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 3 years with a possibility of extending. You will be based at the Parramatta South campus, although travel to other campuses may be required. There is a degree of flexibility to allow the successful candidate to be temporarily or permanently stationed at another campus if leading to more productive outcomes.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 8 $120,879 to $134,189 p.a. (comprising Salary of $102,144 to $113,391 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
