A collaborative team of WSU academic and professional staff from the School of Health Sciences, School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Humanities and Communication Arts, Translational Health Research Institute, The Centre for Transforming Early Education and Child Health (TeEACH), The MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development and the Rich Media team have partnered with Western Sydney Local Health District’s Perinatal Child Youth Mental Health Service (PCYMHS) and a number of other government and community-based organisations to deliver a project funded by the Ministry of Health focusing on the Perinatal Mental Health and Wellbeing Program’s Emerging Priorities. The project is titled ‘Improving young mothers’ mental health literacy through the development of a digital learning resource co-designed with consumers and persons with lived experience’.

An opportunity exists for a Project Administration Assistant to join the team.

In this position you will work closely with the Project Support Officer and Chief Investigator to provide administrative and operational support to the project team who work with a multitude of partners – ranging from government, community sector and vulnerable members of the general public. You will coordinate various tasks including: general project administration, regional travel logistics, event and stakeholder coordination and consultation, contracting and management. You will also schedule meetings and appointments, prepare documents for meetings and workshops, while providing day-to-day administrative support to the team in their various roles. The position will be instrumental in the smooth operations of the project.

This is a part-time (17.5 hours per week), fixed-term position until 16 December 2022 based at the Campbelltown Campus, however you may be required to travel to other campuses as well as to external agencies and networks.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 3 - $36,199 to $39,525 pro rata rates (comprising Salary of $30,589 to $33,399 pro rata rates, plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
