About the Division

The Division of Education leads the delivery of the University’s educational priorities, ensuring the quality and compliance of our educational offerings, and overseeing the professional development of our academic workforce. It fosters academic excellence across all Schools and implements strategic learning and teaching initiatives. The division supports and rewards teaching excellence, enhances the student experience and retention, maintains the integrity of academic programs, and delivers robust academic pathways. It also provides superior technical support and library services.

About the Role

As a member of the senior management team, you will ensure the quality and integrity of our educational offerings amidst a rapidly evolving landscape. The role involves leading the University's approach to educational quality assurance and academic integrity, managing regulatory compliance, and maintaining the quality of educational products. This position serves as a liaison with external regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to the Higher Education Standards Framework. It involves implementing effective academic risk management strategies and leading curriculum and assessment renewal in line with regulatory changes. You will support new approaches to program approvals and governance, promote a culture of integrity in learning and assessment, and provide high-level advice to the University’s Senior Executive, contributing to policy development and organisational strategy.

About You

You will have an earned doctoral or terminal degree, or equivalent professional experience, and proven leadership in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and integrity within a higher education setting. You will have outstanding contributions to enhancing student learning and curriculum quality, an ability to inspire and lead enterprise-level educational changes, experience in building high-performing teams, and excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
