The University is seeking to appoint a Pro Vice-Chancellor, Strategy, Government and Alliances. On the direction of the Vice-Chancellor and President, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Strategy Government, and Alliances will drive the realisation of high-level strategic and collaborative objectives for the University.

The position will lead the University’s government relations and advocacy initiatives, alongside aligned industry and community engagement activities. This also encompasses the direction of the University’s major alliances and strategic partnerships with peak bodies, policy groups and other higher education institutions. Additionally, the role includes the leadership of the ‘Flight Path’ and ‘Western Sydney Creative’ strategic initiatives and the direction of the Centre for Western Sydney.

The University is seeking to appoint an executive leader with a thorough understanding of the higher education sector and the political, social and economic landscape of the Western Sydney region. The successful applicant will have a strong background developing high level collaborative partnerships with all levels of government, the university and vocational sector, industry and community organisations.

This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for a period of 5 years, based at the Parramatta Campus.
