The Office of Engagement and Advancement are seeking a Future Student Engagement Project Support Officer to job-share (21 hours per week) a pivotal role in the Future Student Engagement Unit.

The Future Student Engagement Project Support Officer is responsible for the promotion and engagement of prospective students, through a range of engagement and recruitment initiatives. You will support the creation and delivery of high school engagement programs, while also supporting operations that deliver pathway programs and engagement event initiatives for the University. The role reports to the Future Student Engagement Senior Project Support Officer.

The Future Student Engagement Project Support Officer is primarily responsible for formulating and nurturing relations with Primary and High Schools, assisting in creating and delivering an established outreach programme within those schools, participating in organising and delivering events as well as providing high quality administrative support to evaluate and deliver engagement initiatives. The role assists in gathering content and briefing marketing materials, engagement related documentation, and provides accurate and relevant advice to both student and stakeholder related enquiries.

Applicants should have strong communication, public speaking and presentation skills, and be willing to travel as required to schools in Western Sydney and other Western campuses to deliver a range of engagement initiatives to high school students and the school sector.

This is a part-time (21 hours per week), fixed-term position until 20 December 2022 based at the Hawkesbury campus.

It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW employee Working With Children clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 5 (pro-rata rates) $52,646 to $59,629 p.a. (comprising Salary of $44,487 to $50,387 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
