About the Team
Curriculum Operations Team within Data Integrity, Quality and Operations (DIQO) oversee the curriculum approval process and are responsible for maintaining the integrity of curriculum information in enterprise systems, including the Student Management System and University Handbook. Curriculum Operations create and maintain the curriculum rules which provide the foundation of student’s experience at Western Sydney University. 

About the Role
The Curriculum Data Management Analyst is part of the Curriculum Operations Team and is responsible for the management and maintenance of the University’s data contained in the student management system and ancillary publication data systems such as the web handbook. This role works within the context of a broad series of policies and associated procedures. In addition, the role works with a range of technologies required for the planning, coordination and administration of course data management processes and services. 

The Curriculum Data Management Analyst liaises extensively with staff across the University regarding curriculum approvals and rules implementation.

This is a full-time, fixed term opportunity until June 2023 based at the Penrith (Kingswood) Campus with hybrid working options available. 

About You
To be successful in the role, you will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent professional administration experience and training in a large and complex organisation, and:

  • Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills, including the proven ability to think laterally and solve problems, with an established record of exercising initiative and judgement to achieve effective outcomes
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the capability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently in a high volume environment, and a proven ability to exercise initiative.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $113,831 to $122,779 p.a. (comprising Salary of $96,189 to $103,750 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
