About the Role

The Office of Teaching & Research Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to join one of our Technical Support Team.

The Senior Technical Support Officer, Civil, & Construction position will support various teaching units and research project within the Structural Research Laboratory and or Engineering team.

This is a part-time 0.2FTE (7 hours per week), fixed term position until 21 December 2022, based at the Kingswood Campus.  There may be potential for additional hours of the contract.

Applicants should be aware that this role will be based at Kingswood South campus. However, as Western Sydney University is a multi-campus university, they may be required to travel to other campuses, when operational needs arise.

Hours of work for employees in Teaching & Research Technical Services may vary due to operational requirements in supporting teaching classes or research projects and further details are outlined in the position description.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 6 $20,134 to $21,589 pro rata rates, (comprising Salary of $17,013 to $18,243 pro rata rates), plus 17 % Superannuation and Leave Loading).
