About the Role
The Office of Teaching & Research Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to join one our technical teams.

The Technical Assistant, Creative & Performing Arts/Education will perform the preparation of practical teaching spaces (both indoor and outdoor) including materials and equipment prior to practical classes.

Skills and Experiences
To be eligible to apply for this position, you must have a diploma or equivalent in visual, creative and or fine arts or a related discipline. You will also be client focused, can think innovatively, be a good problem solver with the ability to identify and implement solutions. Previous experience working in a visual, creative or art therapy related facility would be an advantage, including a demonstrated understanding of relevant equipment and resources used in visual, creative arts.

Applicants should be aware that this role will be based at Parramatta South campus, however as Western Sydney University is a multi-campus university travel to other campuses may be required when operational needs arise.

Hours of work for employees in Teaching & Research Technical Services may vary due to operational requirements in supporting teaching classes or research projects and further details are outlined in the position description.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 4 $67,662 to $72,036 p.a. (comprising Salary of $57,176 to $60,871 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)

Please note, the above salary range is based on 0.8 of the full-time equivalent.
