About the Role
The School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join team. This position significantly contributes to Western’s research-led direction and helps improve its research profile under specific areas.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is funded by the Australian Research Council under Discovery Project. This prestigious grant has been awarded to the project team consisting of two chief investigators from the School and one partner investigator. The Fellow will focus on wireless communication and signal processing aspects of the funded project. The Fellow will report to the project team for research direction and research assessment.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be expected to conduct research in collaboration with the project team, maintain and develop their scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the signal processing and wireless communication theory community. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be expected to be involved in a range of research activities that span the research process and will include student supervision. The position is outcome driven and satisfactory performance may be assessed regularly to ensure progress is made.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for up to 6 months based at Kingswood Campus.

Remuneration Package:

Academic Level A $100,686 to $121,646 p.a. (comprising Salary of $85,081 to $102,792 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
