About the Role
The Office of Teaching & Research Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to join one of our Technical Support Teams. The Technical Support Officer, Mechanical Engineering position will support various teaching units and research projects within the Engineering and Design team.

This includes, but is not limited to, preparing materials and equipment prior to classes as well as conferring safety guidance to staff and students. You will ensure the equipment and
facilities within their scope are adequately used and maintained. 

You should be aware that this role will be based at the Hassall Street, Parramatta, however as Western Sydney University is a multi-campus university travel to other campuses may be required when operational needs arise.

Hours of work for employees in Teaching & Research Technical Services may vary due to operational requirements in supporting teaching classes or research projects and further details are outlined in the position description.

Remuneration Package:

HEW Level 5 $75,412 to $85,282 p.a. (comprising Salary of $63,724 to $72,065 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)

Please note, the above salary range is based on 0.8 of the full-time equivalent.
