The Division of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President, Academic (DVC & VP (A)) collaborates with Schools, other Divisions and external partners to enable and sustain our students’ success, with the DVC& VP (A) leading the University’s strategic education transformation agenda.  The Academic Division is responsible for academic quality and standards; academic development support; libraries; student learning support, student retention strategies, practical/laboratory learning support; academic policies and programs; technology-enhanced curriculum and experiential learning transformation; and education for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.  

 About the Roles
The ODVCA is seeking Expressions of Interest in two Casual Support Officer positions. One position(Support Officer based at Kingswood Campus) requires experience in general administrative tasks, with the successful applicant able to utilise a full range of desktop-based programs for the preparation of papers and correspondence. Skills in using management information systems including TRIM and web software are required. 

A second position (Project Support Officer based at Parramatta South Campus) is available to work on a specific, time critical and innovative project. The successful person will be required to problem solve and provide administrative support for the project team, such as the management of committee meetings. A demonstrated capacity for qualitative data analysis for user and system requirements, and the ability to apply policy to this work would also be highly regarded.

Remuneration: current casual rates - HEW Level 5 casual rate $50.75 per hour & Hew 6  casual rate $62.43 per hour
