The Neuroimmunology laboratory is a research-intensive discipline located on the Campbelltown Campus within the state-of-the-art School of Medicine building.  Current areas of research centre around developing effective therapies and early diagnosis for protein-misfolding diseases using novel biologics.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work with Associate Professor in Biomedical Sciences on industry funded research into biologics for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.  It is also expected the Postdoctoral Research Fellow will contribute to current and emerging projects in the Neuroimmunology Laboratory. 

This position provides the opportunity to be part of an exciting research team with the potential to develop skills in a wide variety of fields related to drug and biologics development, diagnostic assay development and molecular mechanisms underlying age-related neurodegenerative disorders.

This is a part time (0.5 FTE), fixed term appointment for 12 months, located at the Campbelltown Campus.

Remuneration PackageAcademic Level A (pro-rata) $50,343 to $60,822 p.a., (comprising pro-rata Salary $42,540 to $51,396 p.a., 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
