The School of Medicine is seeking to appoint a Professor of Paediatrics & Child Health to join Western Sydney University’s School of Medicine. The Professor will be expected to make major contributions in the areas of research, academic leadership, scholarship and teaching and learning at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to play a leadership role in the delivery of Paediatric services of the Local Area Health Service.

The appointee must also be eligible to hold a clinical appointment in the Paediatric Department with South Western Sydney Local Health Network which would be negotiated separately.

This is a full time or part-time, 5 year fixed term appointment with the hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Remuneration Package: Professor (Academic Level E) $243,832 p.a. (comprising salary of $206,995 p.a.; 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).

Clinical Loading of $36,309 p.a. will be paid where eligible.

Part time appointments will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
