About the Role
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Learning Futures, collaboratively leads university-wide learning transformation initiatives, and partners with other portfolios and with the University's Schools to enable and support their strategic initiatives to enhance the quality of curriculum design and delivery in contemporary technology-rich learning environments including microcredentials. WesternX is the university’s recognised hub for delivery of microcredentials. WesternX team supports Schools, Research Institutes and broader WSU divisions in prototyping both entry level and highly specialised new products in different markets thus adding to greater institutional resilience.

The Digital Learning Designer in the WesternX team, will create and develop innovative learning materials and digital learning experiences using their pedagogical and technical knowledge to co-design and co-develop transformative digital learning experiences.

About You
We are looking for someone who can find creative, engaging and effective learning design solutions to educational problems. You will have strong communication skills and demonstrated experience in co-developing online instructional materials with academic staff or various stakeholders preferably at a tertiary level. You will be able to critically analyse, work effectively both independently and in teams, and are willing to stay abreast with new technologies.

You will have a learning design portfolio showcasing your strong command of educational technologies. Strong background in multimedia development with rich (info)graphics and video production skills are desirable.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $113,831 to $122,779 p.a. (comprising Salary of $96,189 to $103,750 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
