About the role
The school of science are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team at the School of Science, Western Sydney University, Australia. The successful candidate will work on an exciting industry-funded project titled "Exploring and Investigating lipid-loaded Mesoporous Materials".

The project focuses on developing innovative therapeutic interventions for Vascular Dementia (VaD) by exploring the potential of CapTex-loaded mesoporous materials. The research aims to evaluate the impact of dietary inflammation on lipid profiles through an extensive cohort study, with a primary objective of developing novel therapeutic interventions aligning with dietary approaches.

Skills/Experience
The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in Supramolecular Chemistry, Synthesis Chemistry, Material Science, or related field, have extensive expertise in synthesis chemistry, lipid research, and specialized techniques for material characterization, particularly focusing on Mesoporous Materials and experience in progressing research initiatives from inception through to publication.

The appointee will be based at the Parramatta South Campus, but multi-campus teaching may be required.
