The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, International and Western Sydney International work closely with the Schools, Institutes, Western Sydney University entities and other Western Sydney University units to build the ‘expanding global reach and reputation' of Western Sydney University. Western Sydney International facilitates delivery of an integrated international strategy across Western Sydney University, creating an unrivalled experience for international students, forging international partnerships, increasing the number of inbound international students and expanding outbound mobility experiences.

About the Role
The Western Sydney International team are seeking an experienced professional to fill the full-time Finance Officer position until 18 March 2027.
The Finance Officer is responsible for providing a range of high level administrative and financial support to the Director, International Strategy, Mobility, and Operations, the Manager, Budget and Finance, and other Managers within Western Sydney International.  Specifically, the Finance Officer is responsible for:

  • Processing invoices and reconciliations from overseas vendors
  • Scheduling Overseas Student Health Cover for International Students
  • Processing education agent payments
  • Asset management and
  • Liaising with internal and external providers to international students.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 18 March 2027 based at Western’s Parramatta Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 6 $107,358 to $115,073 p.a. (comprising Salary of $90,719 to $97,238 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
