About the Office of Strategy, Performance and Risk
The Office of Strategy, Performance and Risk is a catalyst for strategic planning and performance, fostering collaboration, monitoring performance, and integrating risk at all levels, playing a pivotal role in enabling the University’s core mission and shaping strategies for success.

Key functional aspects of the portfolio include the integrated strategic and operational planning framework, integrated risk management, strategic and operational performance, enabling strategy planning and performance, business and service performance improvement, project management and assurance, and transformational program oversight and delivery.

These strategic programs are aimed at addressing the broad and evolving challenges being experienced by the University such as increased globalisation, advances in technology, increasing competition and changes to funding models.

About the Role
The Office of Strategy, Performance and Risk are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work with its Enterprise Service Management Program, supporting improvement and change projects.

The position requires capacity to evaluate and document business improvement projects and initiatives, supporting the development of organisational models and process maps. The role will design, develop and implement business improvements, with a focus on the digitisation of manual processes.

This position will play a pivotal role supporting our Enterprise Service Management Program, reviewing and documenting processes and re-designing process for efficiency and optimisation. The position will organise and run workshops with key stakeholder groups and have experience in change management methodologies.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 20 months based at Westerns Hawkesbury Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

About you
The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience in Business Process Improvement.
  • Proven in-depth knowledge of organisational transition planning and implementation, including expertise in overcoming challenges and navigating change.
  • High Level experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools with the proven ability to guide people and processes through successful transformation.
  • Excellent active listening and communication skills, effectively able to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging messages across diverse audiences, mediums (including multimedia technologies), and writing styles.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated quantifiable achievements related to influencing, vision implementation, or teamwork success.

Remuneration Package:  HEW Level 7 $117,645 to $126,892 p.a. (comprising Salary of $99,411 to $107,225 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
