About the Role
The Office of Student Experience and Marketing are seeking someone experienced in developing social media content to join the team as the Social Media Officer. This is an exciting role that will contribute to driving the University's new social media strategy and create new forums for social community engagement.

The Social Media Officer is responsible for providing support to drive and manage social media projects and activities that will enhance online community engagement in line with the social media strategy, assist the Social Media Coordinator to ensure that content positions the University’s brand effectively and provide administrative and ad-hoc support.

This is a full-time ongoing, hybrid position.

The Office of Student Experience and Marketing is located at our Hawkesbury campus and travel between all of our campuses is required to create content.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, brief and create content to support marketing strategies and campaigns both in organic and paid social media.
  • Get hands-on with content creation (copy and assets), creating content that is on-brand ensuring we represent our values.
  • Work alongside the Office of Student Experience and Marketing team to develop innovative social brand campaigns that deliver against our business goals.
  • Monitor social media trends and the competitive landscape to create strategic decisions.

About you
  • Have a love of Tik Tok and be passionate about social media.
  • A creative thinker with hands-on experience creating content.
  • Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage complex and competing priorities
  • Knowledge of all social media networks, and how best to leverage them, in particular LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram.
  • Ability to manage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to balance the big picture with short term needs and initiatives.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 5 $87,744 to $99,381 p.a. (comprising Salary of $74,145 to $83,978 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
