About the Office of People

The Office of People delivers critical strategic and operational outcomes across recruitment and onboarding, employment relations, remuneration and benefits management, employee and leadership development, work health and safety, employee and student wellbeing and safety, student job readiness and graduate outcomes and alumni connection.

The HR Operations team provides payroll services for Western Sydney University and its entities, ensuring approximately 5000 active staff members are paid accurately and on time each fortnight.

About the Role 

Working with the casual employment team, you will support the University in a range of casual payroll, administrative, and recruitment related activities, including:

  • Provide advice and manage general enquiries from candidates, hiring managers and external stakeholders
  • Evaluation and generation of casual employment contracts
  • Processing casual timesheets
  • Manage the casual onboarding and separations processes
  • Data and records maintenance

About You

You will have a relevant qualification and/or extensive administrative experience with previous exposure to a range of University and HR Systems. Previous experience with Ascender Pay an advantage.

Critically, you have exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure and manage competing deadlines.

These are full-time, ongoing positions based at the Hawkesbury campus.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 4 - $87,412 to $93,051 (comprising Salary of $73,864 to $78,638., plus 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
