We are seeking an exceptional person that can join the Placements Hub team as a Part- time (0.6 FTE) project officer and lead a range of exciting projects and initiatives that will deliver a better student learning experience for those undertaking a placement. These initiatives will include streamlining workflow and process, looking at how technology and systems can enhance our work (e.g Artificial intelligence), building resources and professional learning activities to develop staff and student capacities.

The Project Officer will work closely with the Placements Hub team, Learning Futures staff and staff in Schools and other Portfolios, to embed these initiatives and complete the projects on time.

The Project Officer role is multi-faceted and will work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires familiarity with contemporary curriculum developments across the higher education sector, an interest in and capability to engage in project delivery with a quick and reliable turnaround, and be able to use and design systems and processes.

The successful applicant, will have demonstrated experience in supporting and implementing education related projects, demonstrated project management and delivery skills, a high level of initiative and independent decision-making, and excellent communication skills. Applicants will have the abilities and experience to support our curriculum partnerships and professional learning activities.

This position is a fixed term contract until end of December 2021, and is based at the Campbelltown campus. Travel to other campuses may be required.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $64,923 to $70,053 p.a. (comprising Salary of $54,861 to $59,196 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
