We wish to appoint a Learning and Teaching Coordinator, Health Science, Health Promotion who will be responsible for the day-to-day curriculum planning, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning and teaching within the scope of the role and in accordance with The College and Western Sydney University academic policies. In addition, the role is responsible for recruiting, developing, and leading a team of discipline experts within the scope of the role and in accordance with The College and Western Sydney University academic policies.

The successful applicant will be able provide leadership to a team of educators to provide a quality learning experience, have a high level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, able to teach at least two units in the discipline area, and have experience in curriculum and course development, including an ability to project manage and apply transition pedagogy principles.

Working with Children Check: As this position is expected to involve direct or unsupervised contact with children, and in accordance with legislative requirements, in order to commence working at The College, it is a requirement to obtain a "NSW Working with Children Check Clearance". The screening involves checking that you are not a ‘disqualified person’ as per the meaning of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012. No disqualified person will be retained in or appointed to work in child related employment within The College.

Remuneration:  Salary Academic  Step 12: $109,882 (plus 11% Superannuation, Coordinators Allowance ($11,000 p.a) & Leave loading) in accordance with the College Enterprise Agreement.
