The College is a not-for-profit company, wholly-owned by Western Sydney University. We operate across a number of campuses in Greater Western Sydney and provide pathways to University through English Language Programs, University Foundation Studies, Diploma Programs, and continuing professional development programs. The IELTS Speaking Examiner will examine the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Speaking Modules, including double marking where necessary, maintaining standards required by the IELTS Test Partners and the IELTS Professional Support Network (PSN).We currently have a need increase the number of our test invigilators and are seeking applications from persons interested in test invigilation. The role of an invigilator is to assist in the delivery of the test and to ensure the integrity and security of testing procedures.

The successful applicants will have a minimum of three years’ full-time teaching experience (or equivalent part time) and qualifications as per the attached position description.

It is preferable for applicants to currently be certified, however The College will support you in obtaining this if you meet all requirements.

Working with Children Check: As this position is expected to involve direct or unsupervised contact with children, and in accordance with legislative requirements, in order to commence working at The College, it is a requirement to obtain a “NSW Working with Children Check Clearance”. The screening involves checking that you are not a ‘disqualified person’ as per the meaning of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012. No disqualified person will be retained in or appointed to work in child related employment within The College.
