About the Role
The School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences are seeking to strengthen their existing Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence expertise by appointing a Senior Lecturer to join the team. 

The position will contribute to a broad range of academic activities within the school and is involved in the development, implementation and delivery of teaching and learning in our ICT programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The Senior Lecturer will be expected to maintain professional associations, establish and promote collaborations with the industry, and attend information sessions, Open Day, and similar events. In this role you will be involved in HDR student supervisions as well as reviewing and updating curriculum to ensure currency within the field in an ongoing capacity. 

This is a full-time, ongoing position based at the Kingswood campus of Western Sydney University, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

About You
The successful applicant will be an ICT scholar with evidence of high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and research expertise with strong track records in one or more areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, Cyber Security, Internet of Things, and Distributed Computing. In addition, the successful candidate will have a proven ability building and fostering links with external partners, including industry, government and community.

A PhD in an area of computer science is essential, and understanding of contemporary business via industry engagement are vital attributes.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level C $164,764 to $189,004 p.a. (comprising Salary of $139,368 to $160,086 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
