Who you are

UniSQ is looking for a Receptionist with demonstrated administration experience and a client-centric focus to join its new UniSQ Brisbane team. Youll be the frontline ambassador, ensuring everyone feels valued and supported from the moment they step through our doors. Beyond greeting visitors and managing inquiries, youll play a pivotal role in upholding the safety and security standards of our university, safeguarding both individuals and property.

What you'll do

As our Receptionist, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, all contributing to the smooth operation of our facility:

  • Manage the front reception by being the first point of contact, greeting visitors, monitoring and authorising the entrance and departure of staff, students and visitors to maintain security of the facility
  • Answer phone calls and manage visitor car parking.
  • Assist with events, venue hire and room bookings.
  • Undertake general administrative duties including providing support for meetings (scheduling, distributing relevant documentation, taking minutes), travel coordination (lodging travel requests), data entry and document management processes in a timely manner.

What will help you succeed

  • Certification in Administration coupled with demonstrated experience in reception/administrative roles.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for exceeding client expectations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective correspondence and interaction.
  • The ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and achieve results.
  • Adaptability and initiative to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.

Salary: Total remuneration range $81,768 to $86,860 pa (includes salary range of $69,090 to $73,393 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
