Therefore, we are currently seeking a driven and experienced Quantum Measurement Scientist to join our collaborative and dynamic ‘Quantum Devices’ team based in Lindfield NSW, to expand our research capability and work towards ensuring Australia remains at the forefront of this new technology.
CSIRO Manufacturing business unit brings together multi-disciplinary scientific & engineering capabilities and world-class infrastructure to efficiently partner with industry in developing innovative products and processes that allow Australian manufacturers to be globally competitive and environmentally sustainable. Within this, our ‘Quantum Devices’ team uses CSIRO’s world-leading scientific capability in High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) electronic devices, circuits, and sensors to develop advanced magnetometry.
Joining the team in this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the analysis and improvement of superconducting quantum sensors for a number of key research projects. You will bring your well-developed skills and expertise to efficiently measure and characterise the electrical and magnetic properties of superconducting devices, and you will play a vital role in contributing to further progress our technology to deliver on critical client projects and science objectives.
