Why Your Role Matters:

In this role you will be helping the future leaders of the Australian Defence Force navigate their way through their UNSW studies at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA).  You will be supporting their wellbeing by helping them adjust to military and university life.

Responsibilities:
You will provide therapy to approximately four clients per day and will enjoy a variety of other duties such as preparing and delivering presentations, participating in peer supervision, facilitating wellbeing programs and initiatives, liaising with members of ADFA and UNSW staff, and ongoing professional development.

Who You Are: 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A Masters degree in psychology or related discipline
  • Experience in delivering short to medium length evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Well-developed clinical skills
  • Familiarity with issues facing University students and/or members of the Australian Defence Force
  • Experience working with young people aged 17 – 25 years

The successful candidate will be required to work from the UNSW Canberra campus. To be successful you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. UNSW is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
