  • Immediate start for full-time fixed term contracts until 31 December 2025
  • Commencement Salary $76,304 per annum plus 17% superannuation

About the role

We are seeking multiple Project Officers to contribute to one of the largest changes to higher education in Australia over the past 30 years and help shape the new Adelaide University. You will work for the University of South Australia and be based in the Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Curriculum Domain. The domain is responsible for managing Curriculum Design, and Transition, including Program and Course Development, supported by Learning & Teaching Technologies.

As the Project Officer you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and successful implementation of new programs and courses for the new Adelaide University. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting with scheduling activity, monitoring progress, tracking milestone achievements, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a complex project environment requiring the development of strong collaborative working relationships across functional boundaries
  • Developed research and analytical skills and experience in the interpretation of information and the interpretation and application of policies and procedures
  • High-level administrative skills including experience providing project officer support to working groups, committees, and experience in developing and maintaining high level paper-based and electronic administrative systems
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise and anticipate requirements
  • High degree of initiative and resourcefulness, with the ability to instigate and undertake tasks with minimal supervision and acting as a team-player
